The company operates through the brand Alexander.

1. GENERAL

These Terms apply to all purchases made through the Website and form part of the contractual relationship between Alexander and the customer, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws applicable to the relevant transaction.

By using the Website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • you are legally capable of entering into the transaction under the laws applicable to you; and

  • you are purchasing the products for personal or non-commercial use, unless otherwise expressly agreed with Alexander.

Alexander's Website is intended for B2C sales. Business-to-business (“B2B”) purchases are not offered through the Website and may only be arranged separately with Alexander under separate commercial terms.

3. PRODUCTS

Alexander specializes in leather, fur, shearling and other selected materials used in outerwear.

Product photographs, descriptions, colours, dimensions and other specifications are provided to represent the products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Due to differences between screens, lighting and photography conditions, the colour displayed on your device may differ slightly from the physical product.

Natural Materials

Leather and natural fur are materials with inherent individual characteristics. Individual products may therefore contain variations in:

  • grain;

  • texture;

  • colour;

  • surface markings;

  • natural scars or imperfections;

  • thickness;

  • nap or direction of fur; and

  • other characteristics naturally occurring in the material.

Such characteristics do not constitute defects where they are consistent with the nature of the material and the product description.

This provision does not limit any statutory rights relating to products that are defective, damaged or materially different from their description.

4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products displayed on the Website are subject to material availability and production capacity.

The appearance of a product on the Website does not guarantee that the product or any particular material will remain available indefinitely.

Where a required material becomes unavailable or Alexander otherwise becomes unable to fulfil an accepted order, Alexander may contact the customer to discuss available alternatives or, where necessary, cancel the order and provide any refund required by applicable law.

5. MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Many Alexander products are produced following receipt of an order.

A made-to-order product is a standard Alexander product that enters production after the customer places an order.

The fact that a standard product is manufactured after an order is placed does not, by itself, mean that the product is considered personalized or exempt from any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights.

Where a product is specifically manufactured according to a customer's individual measurements or specifications, the provisions concerning Custom and Made-to-Measure Orders below will apply.

6. CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-MEASURE ORDERS

Alexander may accept special requests for:

  • custom sizing;

  • made-to-measure garments;

  • specific materials;

  • colours;

  • modifications to existing designs; or

  • other reasonable product specifications.

Custom orders are not automatically accepted.

The process for a custom or made-to-measure order is:

  1. The customer submits a request to Alexander.

  2. Alexander assesses whether the request is technically and commercially feasible.

  3. Alexander confirms the availability of the required material.

  4. Alexander provides the final specifications and price.

  5. The customer approves the specifications and price.

  6. The customer makes the required payment.

  7. Production begins.

Production will not begin until the customer has approved the relevant specifications and payment has been received.

Alexander reserves the right to decline a custom request where the requested design, measurements, material or modification is not reasonably feasible, the required material is unavailable, or the request cannot be fulfilled in accordance with applicable law.

7. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED MEASUREMENTS

For made-to-measure products, the customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete measurements and other information requested by Alexander.

Customers should carefully follow Alexander's measurement instructions and, where appropriate, have their measurements taken by a qualified tailor or professional.

Alexander may request clarification or confirmation of measurements before production begins.

Once the customer has approved the measurements and production has commenced, the customer accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the measurements supplied or approved by them.

If a garment is produced in accordance with the measurements and specifications supplied or approved by the customer, but those measurements are subsequently found to be inaccurate, the resulting fit issue will not, by itself, constitute a manufacturing defect attributable to Alexander.

Because a made-to-measure garment is produced specifically for an individual customer, an incorrectly supplied measurement may result in a garment that cannot readily be resold to another customer.

Customers should therefore carefully verify all measurements before approving a custom order.

Where a customer provides materially incorrect measurements, Alexander may be unable to offer a refund, cancellation, free alteration or free remake, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

However, if Alexander makes a manufacturing error or fails to follow the measurements and specifications that were correctly supplied and approved by the customer, the customer's applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. CUSTOM ORDER CANCELLATION

Once production of a custom or made-to-measure order has commenced, the customer may not cancel or materially modify the order, except where cancellation or modification is required by applicable law.

This is because the product is produced specifically according to the customer's individual requirements and may not be readily resalable to another customer.

Any statutory consumer cancellation, withdrawal or other mandatory right that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

9. PRICES

Prices displayed on the Website will be shown in the applicable currency and will identify applicable taxes where required.

The total amount payable by the customer, including applicable product prices, taxes and delivery charges known at the time of purchase, will be presented before the order is submitted.

Alexander's primary online currency is currently intended to be USD.

Additional currencies, including EUR and GBP, may be introduced in the future.

Currency availability and exchange rates may depend on the payment service provider and checkout configuration available at the time of purchase.

10. CUSTOMS, IMPORT TAXES AND DUTIES

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country.

The responsibility for such charges will depend on the delivery arrangement applicable to the order.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or government charges imposed on the destination-country importation of their order.

Alexander will provide available shipping and customs information before checkout where reasonably possible.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order may lawfully be imported into their destination country.

11. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Alexander intends to offer delivery to selected destinations in Europe, North America and other international markets.

The countries available for purchase may change depending on shipping arrangements, customs requirements, product restrictions and applicable law.

The Website's availability of a particular destination does not guarantee that every Alexander product can legally be imported into that destination.

Alexander reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where:

  • the product cannot lawfully be exported;

  • the product cannot lawfully be imported into the destination country;

  • required customs or regulatory documentation is unavailable;

  • applicable sanctions or trade restrictions prevent fulfilment;

  • the requested product is subject to destination-specific restrictions; or

  • fulfilment would otherwise violate applicable law.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, Alexander will provide any refund required by applicable law.

12. FUR AND ANIMAL-ORIGIN MATERIALS

Some Alexander products may contain natural fur, leather or other animal-origin materials.

Alexander currently offers or may offer products containing materials including fox and mink fur.

The availability and lawful trade of animal-origin materials may vary according to species, country of origin, destination country and applicable international, national and regional legislation.

Certain animal species and products derived from them may be subject to specific import, export, wildlife-trade, documentation, labelling or customs requirements.

Alexander may therefore restrict particular products or materials from being sold or shipped to certain destinations.

Where required, Alexander will comply with applicable documentation and regulatory requirements relating to the lawful sourcing, export and import of regulated materials.

Customers should not assume that a particular fur or animal-origin product can be shipped to every destination.

13. ORDERS

Before submitting an order, customers will have the opportunity to review:

  • the products selected;

  • quantities;

  • sizes;

  • applicable prices;

  • delivery information;

  • delivery address; and

  • the total amount payable.

Customers are responsible for checking this information before submitting their order.

An order submitted through the Website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms and the applicable order information.

Alexander will provide an order confirmation through email or another appropriate electronic method.

Where applicable law requires additional pre-contractual information or a specific contractual confirmation process, Alexander will comply with those requirements.

14. PAYMENT

Alexander intends to process online payments through iyzico, subject to completion of the relevant commercial and technical arrangements.

Depending on the payment configuration available at checkout, Alexander may accept payment methods including:

  • Visa;

  • Mastercard;

  • American Express;

  • Troy; and

  • other payment methods subsequently made available.

Payment information may be processed by the relevant payment service provider in accordance with its own terms, privacy practices and applicable security requirements.

Alexander may not be able to process an order until payment has been successfully authorized.

15. DELIVERY AND PRODUCTION TIMES

Most Alexander products are made to order.

The maximum standard production period is currently expected to be:

Up to 1 week.

Estimated international shipping time is currently: Approximately 1–3 weeks following completion of production.

Accordingly, the expected total time from order to international delivery may be approximately 1–4 weeks, depending on the product and destination.

For deliveries within Türkiye, the expected delivery period is approximately 1 week, subject to production and carrier conditions.

These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless a specific delivery commitment is expressly agreed.

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • customs clearance;

  • carrier delays;

  • weather;

  • public holidays;

  • production circumstances;

  • supply-chain disruptions;

  • incorrect or incomplete customer information; or

  • other circumstances outside Alexander's reasonable control.

Where mandatory law provides a maximum delivery period or specific remedies for delayed delivery, those rights remain applicable.

16. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Alexander is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

17. RISK DURING DELIVERY

Alexander remains responsible for the products until they are delivered to the customer or otherwise transferred in accordance with the mandatory law applicable to the relevant transaction.

Where a customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered or designated by Alexander, responsibility for loss or damage may be determined in accordance with the law applicable to that transaction.

18. EXCHANGES

Alexander offers a 7-day voluntary exchange period for eligible standard products.

Customers may request one free size exchange per jacket within 7 days from the date of delivery.

The exchange is limited to a different size of the same product and colour.

A request for:

  • a different model;

  • a different colour; or

  • a different product

is not treated as a size exchange and will instead be handled in accordance with the applicable return, cancellation or statutory withdrawal provisions.

Exchange Conditions

The jacket:

  • may be tried on for sizing purposes;

  • does not need to have its original tags attached;

  • must be returned in its original packaging; and

  • must be returned in accordance with the applicable exchange conditions.

The customer is responsible for all cargo, shipping and delivery costs associated with the exchange, including the cost of returning the original jacket to Alexander and the cost of shipping the replacement jacket.

Any customs duties, import taxes or other government charges applicable to the replacement shipment are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

This 7-day exchange policy is a voluntary commercial policy and does not limit or replace any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, replacement or other consumer rights applicable to the customer's order.

19. STATUTORY WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION AND RETURN RIGHTS

Alexander's 7-day exchange policy is a voluntary commercial policy and does not replace or restrict mandatory statutory consumer rights.

Depending on the customer's country and the type of product purchased, the customer may have statutory rights to cancel, withdraw from or return a distance purchase.

For example, Turkish consumer law generally provides consumers with a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts, subject to statutory exceptions. EU consumer law similarly provides a general 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts, subject to applicable exceptions.

Where such a statutory right applies, it takes precedence over any inconsistent provision of Alexander's voluntary exchange policy.

20. EXCEPTIONS FOR CUSTOM AND PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Where applicable law provides an exception from statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights for goods produced according to a customer's specifications or clearly personalized for that customer, such exception may apply to Alexander's custom and made-to-measure products.

Standard products that are merely manufactured after an order is received will not automatically be treated as personalized products.

Any applicable limitation on statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights for a custom order will be communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

21. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Alexander will exchange or otherwise resolve an order if the jacket:

  • is defective;

  • was damaged before or during delivery;

  • is materially different from the product ordered; or

  • does not correspond to its description.

Before shipping each jacket, Alexander will photograph and record a video of the jacket to document its condition prior to dispatch. These records may be retained with the relevant order and shipment records.

If a customer reports a defective, damaged, or incorrect jacket, the customer should contact brand@alexander.shop with their order number and, where applicable, photographs or videos showing the issue. Alexander may request additional photographs or videos to assess the condition of the jacket.

Damage or defects that occur after delivery may be assessed against the condition documented before shipment. Where appropriate, Alexander may use its pre-shipment photographs and video when determining whether the reported issue existed before dispatch or arose after delivery.

Alexander will provide the applicable remedy based on the circumstances of the case.

22. PRODUCT HANDLING

Customers should handle products with reasonable care.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, the customer may generally examine a product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Where applicable law permits a deduction because a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has consequently diminished, Alexander may apply such deduction in accordance with the applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.

23. ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND PRODUCT COMPONENTS

Customers requesting an exchange should return the product with its original packaging and any accessories or accompanying items supplied with the product.

For Alexander's voluntary exchange policy, the original packaging is required.

Original tags do not need to remain attached.

Where a statutory consumer right applies, the absence or condition of packaging, tags or accessories will not automatically extinguish that right where applicable law provides otherwise.

24. ALEXANDER BALANCE / STORE CREDIT

Alexander may offer customers an Alexander Balance as a voluntary store-credit alternative where permitted by applicable law.

Alexander Balance may be used exclusively toward eligible purchases made through alexander.shop.

Where a customer voluntarily chooses Alexander Balance instead of a monetary refund, the balance will be credited to the customer's Alexander account in accordance with the applicable terms.

Alexander Balance is not intended to replace a monetary refund where a customer is legally entitled to receive one.

Where applicable law requires a monetary refund, Alexander will provide the refund through the legally required method.

Alexander Balance may not be exchanged for cash unless required by applicable law.

Additional terms concerning Alexander Balance, including expiry, account use and transferability, may be published separately.

25. REFUNDS

Where a refund is legally required or otherwise approved by Alexander, it will be processed using the payment method required or permitted by applicable law.

For international transactions, customs duties, import taxes and other government charges may be subject to separate rules and may not always be recoverable from the relevant customs authority.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund rights applicable to the transaction.

26. EXCHANGE PRICE DIFFERENCES

Where an exchange is requested for a different size of the same product and colour, Alexander will provide the exchange under the conditions described above.

Where a customer wishes to obtain a different model, colour or product, the request is treated as a return or cancellation rather than a size exchange.

Where permitted by applicable law, Alexander may offer the customer Alexander Balance as an alternative to a monetary refund.

If a customer wishes to purchase another product of a higher value, the customer will be responsible for paying the applicable difference in price.

If a replacement product is of lower value, any resulting difference will be handled as a refund or Alexander Balance in accordance with applicable law and the customer's selected option.

27. CUSTOMS CHARGES ON EXCHANGES

Alexander will cover standard shipping costs associated with an eligible size exchange.

The customer remains responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges or similar government charges relating to the replacement shipment, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

28. ORDER CANCELLATION BY ALEXANDER

Alexander may cancel an order where:

  • the ordered product becomes unavailable;

  • a required material becomes unavailable;

  • the product cannot lawfully be exported or imported;

  • required documentation cannot be obtained;

  • payment cannot be successfully authorized;

  • a material technical or pricing error has occurred;

  • the customer has provided materially incorrect information; or

  • fulfilment would otherwise violate applicable law.

Where cancellation occurs after payment has been received, Alexander will provide any refund required by applicable law.

29. FORCE MAJEURE

Alexander shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters;

  • fire;

  • flood;

  • war;

  • governmental restrictions;

  • customs restrictions;

  • strikes;

  • carrier disruption;

  • significant supply-chain disruption;

  • cyber incidents;

  • shortages of materials; or

  • other comparable circumstances beyond Alexander's reasonable control.

This provision does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

30. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All trademarks, logos, photographs, product imagery, designs, graphics, written content and other materials appearing on the Website are owned by or licensed to Alexander unless otherwise stated.

The Website and its content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, copied or commercially exploited without

Alexander's prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

31. WEBSITE USE

Customers agree not to:

  • use the Website for unlawful purposes;

  • interfere with the operation or security of the Website;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems;

  • reproduce or commercially exploit Website content without authorization; or

  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.

Alexander reserves the right to restrict access to the Website where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, its users or the company.

32. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

Where required, Alexander will obtain the necessary consent before sending commercial electronic communications.

Customers may unsubscribe from promotional communications through the relevant unsubscribe mechanism or other method made available by Alexander.

Transactional communications relating to orders, payments, delivery, exchanges, security or customer service may continue where necessary to fulfil the contractual relationship.

35. COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Questions, complaints and product-related requests may be submitted to:

Alexander will endeavour to review and respond to customer enquiries within a reasonable period.

36. CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION

For consumers purchasing in Türkiye, applicable mandatory consumer-protection legislation and the applicable procedures concerning consumer arbitration committees, mandatory mediation and consumer courts shall apply.

For consumers located outside Türkiye, mandatory dispute-resolution and jurisdictional rights applicable in the customer's country of residence remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising a mandatory right to bring a claim before a competent authority or court where such right cannot legally be excluded.

37. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the law applicable to the relevant transaction.

Where Turkish law validly governs the contractual relationship, Turkish law shall apply.

For international consumer transactions, nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory rights granted by the law that applies to their transaction.

Where the law of the customer's country provides mandatory consumer protections that cannot be excluded by contract, those protections shall remain applicable.

38. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Alexander may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, products, services, business practices or applicable law.

The version applicable to a purchase will be the version presented to the customer at the time the relevant contract is concluded, subject to mandatory law.

The date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently updated.

39. CONTRACT RECORDS

Alexander will retain records of orders and relevant contractual information for the period required by applicable law.

Where required, customers will receive their order confirmation and applicable contractual information by email or another durable medium.

Customers are responsible for retaining their order confirmation and other relevant purchase documentation.

40. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be interpreted or replaced to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intended purpose, where legally possible.

41. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the applicable order information, pre-contractual information, product-specific terms, privacy policy and any other documents expressly incorporated into the purchase process, constitute the contractual framework applicable to the relevant transaction.

Where a conflict exists between these Terms and a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory provision shall prevail.
